I needed a smallish table with at least four chairs for my breakfast nook and this set fits the area well. Assembly of the set (which was done by my husband) was a bit tedious and awkward due to the many bolts required and the weight of the parts. I really like the style of this set and I think it will be sturdy enough to stand up to use by my three grandkids. However, it is not as "finished" as I would like. While the wood on the table and chairs is strong and finished nicely, the finish on the chairs is uneven and not the color I expected, plus there are sharp edges on the chair backs where welds weren't smoothed before painting."..."  Read more

This table and chair set is just right for my kitchen. I love the color. There were a few drawbacs, or at least things to note about the finish. It does chip easily, and the table is not completely flat across the top--possibly a design that was planned to give it a more rustic and/or hand scraped wood-like feel. I like the clean lines and the comfortable wood chairs--no cushion needed. Do be careful when assembling--if you OVER-tighten, it can pull the embedded nut right out of the wood, and then it can be hard to fix, though not impossible."..."  Read more
