We already owned a table / chair set that was purchased a few years ago but only came with two chairs. These BI chairs were an exact match so we ordered a set. In addition to these chairs we also ordered a coffee table and end tables. The descriptions for the coffee/end tables indicated assembly required. The description for these BI chairs does not indicate assembly required (that I could see). So beware – you must assemble them with limited instructions based on pictures and few words. Four legs come with the set. Once we had the first chair frame assembled (prior to screwing on the seat) we set the chair on the floor and discovered that one chair leg was a bit longer which resulted in a wobbly chair. We took the chair apart, evaluated the four legs and paired them up according to best similar length. Despite these efforts, both chairs ended up being a bit off kilter."..."  Read more

I got this chair to use for our computer desk. We had a different chair before that I really liked, but the company no longer carries it. So I found this website and was amazed at all the selections of different chairs to choose from.I love the antique look of this chair... it's not a total solid black... its has some rubbed off markings here and there on the chair, but not so much, it's just right! The quality of the chair is nice and sturdy. The best part of all, you don't have to build the chair, it's already assembled!! The chairs i purchased are very nice chairs, but i'm not sure if they are exactly what i was looking for. Difficult to keep clean, not sure if it's because of the matte finish. I was a little dissapointed with the overall size. I have a very small kitchen table, so the measurements had to be exact. the back of the chairs curve instead of being straight up, which changed the way they fit into my kitchen. The chairs were an awesome price for the quality. Very heavy and sturdy chair, not like the chairs i've seen at dept. stores. Pleased with my chairs."..."  Read more

We needed new dining room chairs and didn't want to spend three hundred dollars on just one chair. These were a great value and they look good. We were looking for chairs that were sharp but also warm and inviting -- we didn't want super formal chairs that you're afraid to sit in. The chestnut finish matches Danish teak furniture really well, which is what we were trying to do. The best thing about them is that they come fully assembled so they are nice and sturdy. The only negative thing i have to say is that here and there the staining was inconsistent. One of the chairs had what looked like a couple of droplets of finish -- like someone had let it drip.
