I knew they were beautiful and the price was great. I was able to snag the last two from Clearance, which, they assured me, just meant someone didn't like them in their home...NOT that they were defective. That made them half price!
Upon unpacking, noted a slight mar in the seat fabric of one of the Clearance chairs. It was not unlike someone's stud on their jeans scraped the fabric. You had to really look for it in good light to see it, but I was all ready to send it back. My husband talked me out of it, and I'm glad he did. It was a steal and hardly worth it.

The other one that came with the marred chair seat was the worst of all, but it WAS Clearance at half price. Luckily, my hubby is very handy and found a way to fix them: he removed all the feet and through trial and error found the proper size washer to slip in there before nailing the feet back on, therefore making them all rock solid and no wobbles. Some broke as he removed them, so he bought an extra bunch of feet to nail on after adding the washer. So it was a simple fix but quite upsetting when it was noticed. These chairs are sooooo worth a little extra tweaking. They really dressed up my dining room with quiet elegance."..." Read more
