Kitchen & Dining Chairs

Our existing kitchen chairs had taken quite a beating over 8 yrs ( we have 7 children) and we needed to replace them. Changing the cushions was going to cost anywhere from 50-75 to have a new cushion on an old chair. We opted to buy these new dining chairs instead and are very happy we did. Assembly was a bit tedious but, once assembled, they are very solid and look great in our kitchen. The seat cushions wipe down very well. They are heavy enough that they dont get knocked around easily but not so heavy that theyll injure one of the little ones should they pull the chair over. I had the table and four chairs and waited until I got the set before getting two additional chairs to go at the kitchen island. The table and chairs are sturdy and exceptionally well made. Vintage Editions really cut no corners with this set. The chairs were a bit difficult to put together, but after the first two, it got easier. These chairs are very sturdy and have a firm seat, with a very adaptable to any style fabric of high quality. I purchased the arm chairs first to be sure they were suitable, the arms a just a tad low on them, but how long does one really lounge around on the dining room furniture. For the money this entire set was a terrific buy. My only regret is they have discontinued the matching swivel barstools. That was a giant dissappointment as I had purchased the set with the barstools in mind."..."  Read more
