The chairs i purchased are very nice chairs, but i'm not sure if they are exactly what i was looking for. Difficult to keep clean, not sure if it's because of the matte finish. I was a little dissapointed with the overall size. I have a very small kitchen table, so the measurements had to be exact. the back of the chairs curve instead of being straight up, which changed the way they fit into my kitchen. I, like many others, researched chairs as other dining room chairs I bought as part of a dining room set from a large furniture chain started falling apart piece by piece and coming loose and cracking. Not so with these. The fact that they require some assembly (which is easy) means that you have control over the the quality and build. I purhcased these chairs to replace a chair in a dining set. While these chairs were not an exact match, they are close enough to my other chairs in color, finish and height. The chairs were easy to assemble and the only tool required that was not included was a screwdriver. Once assembled the chair seemed sturdy.
