I ordered these to replace a set of metal-framed ones that fell apart. These chairs are sturdy, well-made, North Carolina product. We have no children in our household, but I do believe they would withstand the rigors of family life. The design aligns with our Country Kitchen motif and Im having custom cushions made for them. Eventually, Im going to paint the legs and back to match the frame color of the table and polyurethane the seat, leaving it a natural color. I have ordered the chairs, a pot rack and a bread machine from Wayfair. Now, whenever I need something for my home, I go to Wayfair FIRST because the quality is first-rate and the prices are so reasonable!! I also talk you up on Facebook!!"..."  Read more

The chairs were delivered within 5 days. They are good looking and seem sturdy and well built BUT (and it is a BIG but) they are NOT fully assembled as stated in the description! That was one of the reasons I had decided on this particular chair. Luckily my husband was willing to assemble them and is finishing up the first chair now and it took about an hour (and he is pretty good at assembling things)....the next one will probably go faster but be aware when you order that they are NOT assembled."..."  Read more
