Our existing kitchen chairs had taken quite a beating over 8 yrs ( we have 7 children) and we needed to replace them. Changing the cushions was going to cost anywhere from 50-75 to have a new cushion on an old chair. We opted to buy these new dining chairs instead and are very happy we did. Assembly was a bit tedious but, once assembled, they are very solid and look great in our kitchen. The seat cushions wipe down very well. They are heavy enough that they dont get knocked around easily but not so heavy that theyll injure one of the little ones should they pull the chair over. [...] The chairs are very attractive, the color is perfect and they are comfortable. I am disappointed with the sagging and creasing of the leather. It is very noticeable . We tried many times to adjust them when we put the chairs together but nothing helped the creases. The creases occur where seats meet the back of the chair and there is a crease in the leather on the back of one of the chairs. The sagging occurs on the sides and back of chairs. The descriptions says upholstered but it is a leather look vinyl. The chair is very comfortable. It is described as a side chair. I use mine as a desk chair. The only drawback for that is that it doesn't have wheels. I have a small space though and this works for me since the chair swivels.
