Kitchen & Dining Chairs

got 2 chairs from the clearance dept., rec'd in like new condition with a greatly reduced price. between the price and condition of chairs I returned and ordered 2 more. the chairs are being used in the kitchen eating area and will receive a lot of wear. my sister said she didn't know they were metal until she touched one to sit on. seat height seems higher than 18", which is good. chairs are comfortable, even for the son who is 5'10" and rather on the heavy side. the back legs do not splay out in back (as a metal chair I was using did) so there is no tripping over chair legs. with being welded there should be no getting wobbly as a wood chair and glued rungs would get. I cover the cloth seat with a towel to keep cloth seat clean. what seems not so great is the black coating seems to easily scrape off, got minor scrape when brushed against a cardboard box edge."..."  Read more

I purchased these chairs for my parents' kitchen to replace and match existing ones that belong to a table set. We had looked at various stores in many locations but finding a suitable match was difficult. I was able to choose the wood type and color, seat color that matched the set. My mother was very skeptic about an online purchase convinced that it would not be possible to order something she would like without seeing the item in person. I have been searching for authentic looking diner chairs for a while and everything was either out of my price range or really cheap quality. I had been searching for a happy medium and I honestly thought I would never find one. When I stumbled across these chairs, I was beyond happy!
