My old sink was a standard 30"double sink. After 13 years of basically using just half of the sink all the time (15"), I thought it would be smart to get a smaller sink when I needed to replace it. The way I looked at it is I would be gaining 5" compared to what I had been using all those years. I wanted a farm house sink and I came upon this one. The lines (the gorgeous front curvature) and size looked perfect online...plus, in comparison, the price was great! So I went for it. When I received the sink (it's heavy) I rushed to open it...OMG...it's better than I had hoped for. It's absolutely gorgeous. It makes such a beautiful statement in my new kitchen. My contractor built a support box (like I said, it's heavy) in the cabinet where it sits but I still have plenty of room to store my cleaning supplies and my small garbage can. This is a high quality of stainless steel and the configuration of the large and small sink provides a more than ample large space for washing baking pans, pots, etc. while still allowing another sink for draining, stacking, etc. The sink grids which are included are sturdy, high quality stainless as well, fitted perfectly and providing protection against scrapes and bumps. We're redoing our kitchen and wanted a big, deep single sink. I was not familiar with Kraus. After exhaustive web-surfing, I decided this sink sounded the best, but it's always hard to be sure if you can't touch it first. Now that we've gotten it, we are thrilled. It's substantially heavier than most moderately priced sinks, includes the extra features you'd want, has a beautiful finish and looks like it will hold up for many, many years. The only downside, which I read a number of comments on, is the basket strainer, which sadly, can't be used with a garbage disposal. It seems to be of high quality and it's a shame that there isn't an option of one that can be used with the standard garbage disposal fitting. If asked, I would enthusiastically recommend this and Wayfair to a friend."..."  Read more
