The Kraus sink is much better quality than the Elkay sink that I had originally bought. This sink is 16 gauge stainless steel which is thicker than a standard sink. We ordered this sink after pricing the same style of sinks locally. We waiting 12 days as it had to clear customs at the Canadian border. I loved the fact that we could track the sink online and knew exactly where it was at any given time. The sink arrived very well packed and crated, the sink itself came in a large soft bag to protect it, then in heavy styrofoam and a wooden crate. It is absolutely stunning.. Our kitchen was a total makeover and with the white granite counter tops and white cabinets this sink is a stunner. We had it professionally installed by a plumber who had no issues with. We also installed a beautiful chrome industrial hose faucet.. Similar sinks in Eastern Canada run close to 2000.00. With shipping and duty taxes we paid just over 600.00. This is a high quality of stainless steel and the configuration of the large and small sink provides a more than ample large space for washing baking pans, pots, etc. while still allowing another sink for draining, stacking, etc. The sink grids which are included are sturdy, high quality stainless as well, fitted perfectly and providing protection against scrapes and bumps.
