This sink looks really nice. It has a mirror finish, so it looks good as a bar sink. The steel is very thick and high quality. However, it is incredibly small. You may want to go with the next size up, depending on your application. The depth is fine, but make sure you pair the sink with a tall faucet due to the small diameter of the sink . One other thing: I thought the sink was an undermount. It has enough of a lip to be used as such, but my granite installer said he couldn't glue it due to the shiny finish on the lip. It can be done (you can probably use brackets to hold in place), but he was lazy, and I didn't have the time to deal with his crapp. It still looks cool though, and the price is right. Great sink at a great price! We installed it in our 30" cabinet - not sure if it would fit at first, but our countertop installers made it work! We love it - huge, quiet and very versatile. I can even have a small over-the-sink dish drainer on the one side and still wash large items on the other side. Only two reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars: (1)Water and food scraps don't always drain completely from the sides - not sure if that's common for this size sink. No big deal as I just use a dish brush to move everything twds the drain. (2)After a couple of months, rust is starting to show up on the sides. Hoping CLR will do the trick. Otherwise, might be a bigger deal than I think! For the price tho, I still think the sink was worth it as I couldn't have afforded this size sink otherwise (and having a large single sink was a key "must-have" in my new kitchen!)"..."  Read more

Recently purchased a new home and replacing every sink (baths, kitchen and laundry) with Swanstone sinks. why? Got them for my present home 23 years ago and they look like new. The kitchen sink in particular got heavy use Did not use a heavy stain remover like Comet. No need to ever scrub. I keep a quart bottle of a mix I make - 1/2 cup clorax and fill with water. This takes care of stains and dirt. I use a light pad, like for the one for my smooth cooktop. This is the best product on the market. Since the material is not hard like porcelain, it doesn"t chip. I did drop a full 8 qt. pan once and left quite a scratch. Got a little sand paper - good a new. No cons."..."  Read more

We use this sink as a small prep sink in conjunction with another larger one. The quality of the Nantucket sink is beyond our expectations. The highly polished finish we prefer over our other sink, and the sound proofing (the disposal is connected to it) is so complete that when the water is running the disposal cannot be heard at all!
