This is the second Pine Butcher Block order for me! I use mine for a work counter, computer work station, and as a pub height dining table in the kitchen. As far as I'm concerned, this is a functional piece of furniture that is so well built it will last forever. It is also a piece of art so I am actually pleased people can see it from the front entrance and a section of the living room. When the second Pine Butcher Block arrives it will be used primarily as a pub height dining table in another casual eating area. (Bar chairs and stools coordinate well with the height of this product.) If I need to, I can even put the two together to create an enlarged work counter in th kitchen, should I need to. (I put mine on an area rug which allows me to move it around easily without damaging the wood flooring in my kitchen.) "..."  Read more
