We moved to our current house about 10 years ago and has greatly missed the island we had built in that house. Our new kitchen is much smaller and has less counter space; as such, we were looking for the additional space and storage an island might provide, but in a constrained space. This kitchen cart's dimensions appeared to fit the bill, especially compared to another cart that was more than twice as expensive from a competitor.
Assembly took about 2 hours and didn't' really require anything special in the way of tools. I was worried it would be flimsy, but the finished product is anything but -- it's nearly as solid as our cabinets once assembled. It is important, though, to tighten down all the bolts to provide the rigid frame you really want.
