I love my new kitchen cart. When we remodeled our house, my kitchen table was moved out to our 4 season room. My poor kitchen looked empty and I desparately wanted an island to fill the void and give me more counter space. The kitchen cart did just that. We love our Crosley kitchen cart with the black granite top! It feels sturdy and looks elegant -- adding a polished feel to our small kitchen. Because of limited space, we were hesitant about getting an island in the first place -- but this kitchen island cart is the perfect fit for small spaces. Best of all, I can roll it around to fit, and I greatly appreciate the extra countertop space on wheels! It's perfect for those who don't have much kitchen area. [...] Opened the cartons and was sprayed with little pieces of static-charged styrofoam. I'm still finding BB size styrofoam all over place. If I had this to do again I would open the boxes outside, wipe down the various pieces and carry them inside. Pieces were all labeled as was the hardware. All pieces went together easily. My only complaint is the screw holes were not drilled big enough for the screws. I grabbed my drill using the correct size bit and enlarged the pre-drilled holes. That made assembly much easier on my screwdriver hand.Had no problems with any other aspect of assembly of the cabinets. Drawers and side racks were the biggest problem. I bought three kitchen carts. Two of the three had wrong parts. One cart had an incorrect side piece for the bottom drawer. The other cart had incorrect side rack pieces. This did not prevent me from assembling and using the cabinets so I was not overly concerned. [...] These carts look great now. When I finally get the drawer and side rack on them they will look even better. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would order from Home Styles Furniture again. First, this island was what I'd consider expensive (I'm a tightwad, sorry). So I really debated before springing for this one, but kitchen space is precious and this one had all the features I wanted - drawer, shelf, towel rack (in that order) and all work beautifully. The most surprising thing about this island is the build quality. This thing seems to glow in my kitchen - something indescribable, but it draws you in and everyone that comes into my kitchen seems to feel a need to start touching the top. I can't explain it. It is silky smooth natural wood and the base is so heavy and solid. I use this in the kitchen for food prep. and I'm what you'd call a "heavy user". This beast is holding up without breaking a sweat. I did notice the top got a little rough after a few weeks so I borrowed some paper and gave it a little sanding and added more mineral oil - back in action. For something I use almost everyday and probably will for the rest of my life, this island turned out to be a bargain."..."  Read more
