This kitchen island is spectacular. I recently had granite countertops and new backsplash put into my kitchen. I had a space in my kitchen that needed a large scale kitchen island and I chose to purchase one instead of having one built in. There is a video on Youtube that shows you all the features this island has. It has a removable knife rack that allowed me to store all my knives and toss the round knife rack on the counter. I use the ends of the island to display books, standing them upright so the pretty covers show instead of storing spices like the photo shows. I had a lot of contractors in and out of my house during the remodel and most thought this was a built in island as it is "furniture/cabinet" quality and not some little junky kitchen cart. Every single construction worker/contractor raved about the island and wanted to know where I got it. If the color scheme and size fit your kitchen I highly recommend this island. I also love the fact I can fit two bar stools under one side, I did not purchase the matching bar stools in the photo, I already had some that had a high back and they look great. It has a beautiful wood top, I have already decided if it doesn't wear well I will replace with granite, the base alone is worth the money. [...]"..."  Read more

Not long ago I removed a full size electric range and hood from the kitchen. Until we remodel, we have this stainless steel topped cart w/ a 2-burner hot plate on it, elec.fry pans, slow cooker, etc. The cart has plenty of space on top and remains uncrowded during meal prep. I store large cookware on the two lower shelves. Along with the cart, I purchased the s/s topped Home Styles buffet, and got an extra discount.[...]I put cart & buffet together by myself, w/o a problem. The cart is outstanding solid natural wood with great wheels, 2 of which lock. The 2 drawers are roomy. Drawer handles & towel bar are brushed stainless & look very modern. Very nice kitchen cart. Great for a small kitchen & very reasonably priced. Was easy to put together & is quite sturdy. I use it as additional kitchen space & like the convenience of being able to roll it to where I need it. The drawer is handy for extra kitchen utensils & the wine rack is a nice addition for storing a few bottles of wine. The metal basket is great for storing fresh fruit & vegetables such as potatoes, onions, & winter squash. Plus, there is the bottom shelf for additional storage.
