Kitchen Faucets

After purchasing and installing 2 other cheaper faucets in the last 3 years, I asked my brother-in-law which wall mount faucet he had used in his kitchen, and he told me the brand was Chicago Faucets. He said the faucet he installed had already lasted some 20 years and is still in good working order. When I found out the retail price at first I was hesitant - as I had never spent this much on a replacement faucet, but to spend [$] over 20 years is much cheaper than $30.00-$60.00 every other year or so, especially when you count the time ond cost of having to install the new faucet. My whole family LOVES our new Delta Touch 2 0 faucet! This faucet is both beautiful & functional. It is so easy & fun to use! I can't believe other faucet manufacturers haven't developed their own versions of Delta's Touch 2 0 by now. I had my plumber install it, so I can't comment about its ease of installation, except to say that he didn't have any problems. I had read some customer feedback on another website about it being a very tall faucet with potential splashing issues, so I had it installed 4 inches from the back of the sink, instead of the standard 2 1/2 inches. It works great at that distance. I also like the way the pull-out spout magnetically attaches to the neck of the faucet. The style of this faucet looks fabulous in my contemporary style kitchen, and coordinates well with my stainless steel appliances. I can't think of any negatives except that it might not look as good in a more traditional style kitchen. I would love it if Delta would make Touch 2 0 faucets for bathrooms!"..."  Read more

I like this faucet a lot and it seems quite well made and sturdy. That said, it's surprisingly big. It looks fine in our double sink, but could overwhelm some sinks or spaces. Because of it's height, the base of the faucet also has a little wobble when mounted in our, which is a good quality (Franke) stainless sink. I had the faucet installed by a plumber, who said this is a common problem he is seeing with tall faucets, and that to avoid the problem we would have to have a cast iron sink or countertop under where he mounted the faucet. So, I recommend the faucet for the right sink/litchen, but it may not be for everyone -- hence I give it 4 instead of 5 stars."..."  Read more

I had a handyman install this to replace a 14 year old faucet and give my kitchen a quick facelift. There was no problem with installation and the faucet is working great. It has a very solid feel to it and I like the hose being above the counter rather than below (like the old faucet) as there is no chance of hose tangles anymore. The spray button does not have to be held down all the time which is another advantage over my old faucet. It is very easy to turn the water on/off even with your wrist which is great when you just don't want to touch the faucet due to messy hands.
