We were looking for a high quality faucet and sprayer that didn't have open access from the deck to the space under the sink. On other pull-down or pull-out faucets, the gaskets are imperfect and we always wind up with moisture under the sink. Dirt and food get into the sprayer shaft, etc.... Plus, the pulley systems that raise and lower the sprayer take up a lot of space and get caught up on other things stored under the sink. They never seem to work smoothly. Having worked in restaurants in college, I knew that commercial dishwashing faucets/sprayers solved these problems. In addition, we wanted a faucet that would last. Our previous faucet fell apart, literally, even though it was a well-known name brand. The painted finished peeled off and even worse, it was filled with sand, which eventually started leaking out. Big box stores sell faucets in the same price range that are vastly inferior - some are even plastic!! This faucet is amazing! Very solid and works perfectly. The directions for installation could be better, but it was fairly easy to figure out what needed to be changed. Maybe an error in translation from German to English? Similar faucets we found were 10-20 times as much. This is a great deal!! Since our sink has three holes, we bought two soap dispensers to plug in. We fill one with hand soap and the other with diswashing soap. Work great. Some other reviews criticize the bottles that come with, but these could probably be replace, maybe even with a commercial soap bottle?"..."  Read more

I like this faucet a lot and it seems quite well made and sturdy. That said, it's surprisingly big. It looks fine in our double sink, but could overwhelm some sinks or spaces. Because of it's height, the base of the faucet also has a little wobble when mounted in our, which is a good quality (Franke) stainless sink. I had the faucet installed by a plumber, who said this is a common problem he is seeing with tall faucets, and that to avoid the problem we would have to have a cast iron sink or countertop under where he mounted the faucet. So, I recommend the faucet for the right sink/litchen, but it may not be for everyone -- hence I give it 4 instead of 5 stars."..."  Read more

This magnificent product by Kraus brings sheer elegance into the kitchen space of the home. Seen only several times in use it was an "I want" item the moment my wife saw it. As Yul Brynner said in the film The Ten Commandments,, "So let it be said, so let it be done," and yours truly was on the phone immediately placing the order. More so than the sheer elegance and focus it brings to the sink area of the kitchen, the tap head itself provides a more consistent and even flow of water (whether in regular or spray mode) than other faucets I have had installed in kitchens in the past. The worst thing about taps is the installation but that goes the same for all designs. That's what having plumber friends is all about. I bought this to replace a faucet I had purchased from my local big box store. My previous faucet lasted only a year. This faucet seems to be much better quality...many of the plastic parts on previous faucet are brass on this faucet...and a much better price than my local stores. The satin nickel finish is great!
