Kinetic Kitchen Basics 5 1/2-Qt. Round Dutch Oven

I use this for cooking small amounts of pasta and also for soups and chili. Love the shape and look of it. Stuck-on food comes off fairly easily by soaking with hot water and a little liquid dish soap. However, discoloration of the interior occurs when cooking foods like tomatoes, cured olives and even sauteeing onions. If you really need nonstick, be sure to get one with a nonstick surface. This heats evenly and gently. Handles get warm so have a potholder handy. Overall this is acceptable for basic cooking and relative cost.

I had a hard time finding a well-made covered pan of this size that (1) wasn't too heavy to lift easily and (2) had cool handles. Finally found it at Wayfair. I'm very pleased with it.

Has worked wonderfully for every thing I've used it for so far.

Excellent for stovetop cooking and heating food.

I have never found a pot the perfect shape and size for boiling a pound or so of pasta. It does the job perfectly and does not take much space in the dishwasher after you're done!
