High Quality storage pieces I have used these containers for a number of weeks and found them to be of very high quality and useful. Seals do NOT leak. The plastic latches work very well and have durable hinges. No problems with microwaving - lid off or on. I usually refrain from washing plastic lids in the dishwasher (they are usually easy to wipe clean) to prevent warping even with dishwasher safe lids. On the few occasions these lids have been in the dishwasher they have shown no sign of warping. My only reservation related to my intended use. The theory being that a single complete meal serving could go from fridge to microwave in the same container, cutting down on transferring and cleaning multiple bowls, and you would not end up with a large container in the fridge taking up space with only a small amount of food left in it. Also, the containers would be durable enough to use repeatedly, avoid chemical leaching plastics, and store efficiently (stackable and not round). I found the 4.63 cup container to meet these needs and to be the right volume for holding leftover meals of a single serving. However, my intention was to include different items, such as a serving of leftover pork tenderloin, as well as a vegetable item like green beans together in the same container. For this use, the dimensions of the container are a bit too tall. I would prefer to have the food spread out a bit more as it would be on a plate versus stacked up like it would be in a bowl. This just seems more appetizing for some reason. Comparable containers I have seen that were about the right height invariably ended up being of the wrong volume or had ineffective lids. Of these the Pyrex No Leak lids series came the closest and are worth a look. Their lids fit reasonably tightly but I would not say foolproof for transport like the glasslock. Despite this the containers do serve the intended purpose, to store planned leftovers efficiently (owing to their rectangular shape and stackability) and allow for a complete meal to be prepared quickly and easily straight from the fridge. |

highly desirable product totally agree with the first reviewer. good size for day-to-day use, the lids are well built not like cheap quality plastic lids, very impressive. the glass container is the best material to keep food fresh and antibacterial at any temperature, they endure most of condition, especially when I need to reheat the food, I dont have to worry about a carcinogenic substance. (good for lunch food storage) it looks neat with any plate at any occasion. very high-end quality, worth every penny. |

Wonderful design - Handy size Product Review This is my favorite size of these wonderful storage containers. Not too big, not too small, and since they are air-tight, you don't have to switch to a smaller size as the food gets used up. I have never raved about a storage container until glasslock. These truly are air and water tight, so they keep food fresh and odor free for a long time. You can toss them in a backpack and never worry about them leaking. The glass will not stain or scratch like plastic, and the lids are super easy to get off and on, which is one of their best features. You can also see what's inside and they look great in the fridge or on the table. The low rectangle design is a great space saver. They weigh more than plastic, but that is the trade-off when you use glass - well worth it, in my opinion. I normally don't spend money on storage containers, I just use the old yogurt and cottage cheese containers or a baggie, but I wanted something that would hold up to foods with high vinegar and/or acid content. I've always hated struggling with plastic lids on most fancy containers, so that was a major concern. After trying one of these containers I went out and bought about a dozen of them. They are SOOO worth the money! Buy them quick before Wayfair realizes what a great bargain they are. This set costs twice as much anywhere else online. Once you've tried glasslock, you'll never go back! Service Review Arrived just 2 days after I placed the order. Extremely well packaged. Very nice! |
