I had searched for a long time for a herloom table and chair set that would be as unique and sturdy as my daughter's set, some 22 years old. WELL, THIS SET IS 100 TIMES BETTER THAN THAT! I purchased this for my almost 2 year and 1 year old granddaughters. This set was the sturdiest, prettiest, most practical with undershelf, and best constructed set I have ever seen. It is made with more quality than adults sets. The table and chair is a little taller than most and I expected, but my 20 month petite granddaughter still could get on herself. The table legs are about 3" square, the bolts on table and chairs are very thick, all holes predrilled perfectly, and not too big either. Assembly was just over an hour by a yet inexperienced young dad. Only needed a phillips screwdriver for table, allen wrench for chairs was all needed there. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND THIS SET TO ANYONE, AND EVEN THE PRICE IS REASONABLE FOR THE QUALITY."..."  Read more

[...]Putting together the chairs is time-consuming, but once you do 2, the remaining 2 go quicker. Also I did NOT have any problems with any of the holes not lining up. I thought I might on one hole on one chair, but after re-aligning the last dowel I had screwed in, the first one went in without a hitch. My advice to put the table & chairs together without problems is to *follow the directions* and put the pieces together in the order directed, AND to do so with the chairs standing upright as if you were going to sit in them (as the directions picture you to do). Trying to insert dowels and screws with the chair laying sideways or tilted at a wrong angle may cause the holes not to line up properly.My 17 mo old daughter already loves her new table & chair set and has been sitting in various chairs ever since I finished putting it together. Great table for the money! The 24x24 table works perfectly in our small kitchen. The quality of the table and chairs seems to be very good thus far. It does take a little bit of man power to turn some of the screws but nothing tremendously difficult. Our 22 month old daughter LOVES her table and chairs. We bought this table, bench, and chairs set to go with our 2 year old's Nantucket toddler bed and are happy with it. It's the perfect size for her and she can easily work at the table while she sits on the chairs or bench. Speaking of bench, I love that this set has a bench and my daughter prefers it over the chairs. This product appears to have a durable finish and it's not too glossy, not too matte.
