We were looking at getting a wooden table and chairs for my daughter (and one on the way). Almost every set we found was $100 or more and came with only two chairs. We accidentally found this adorable pinic style table and we love it. I'm not big into plastic toys, BUT she's not the neatest and when she makes a mess, I don't worry about clean-up! With a little elbow grease the crayons come right out and everything else easily wipes off. She's happy to eat meals there. The table has plenty of room for her cousins to eat with her and it's great for outdoors as well because it is so lightweight and easy to move. I like that there is a height adjustment and it can also transform into an easle when she's old enough. DOWNSIDE: so lightweight that when she climbs on it I cringe. My toddler son loves this table and chair set. We keep it in the living room and he enjoys eating his snack or coloring on it. The height and size is perfect, and he feels really special having furniture that fits him perfectly. I do wish the table and chair were a bit heavier. Everything is so light, which causes it to move around very easily. If it were just a tad heavier I think it would be a little more stable. All in all, the set is great and for the low price that you're paying I'd say its worth buying. Very easy to clean up - just wipe clean...great size for four kids. We've had 14 mo old who sits well on her own up to a 6 year old sitting at this table. Any more than four kids would be too crowded. Lots of area for eating or arts/crafts. Spills stay on the table for the most part since there is a small ledge around the edge. The color is a bit boring...grayish brown two toned, but that and the challenging assembly are the only downfalls. We keep the table outside and it hoses off well. I don't recommend adults sitting on it - it's study for four big kids (under 7 or 8, I'd say), but not adults. :) Check the poundage rating... Cheers!"..." Read more
