I bought two of these chairs to replace the old recliners that my son had for about 5 years. He uses them to play video games. We tried bean bag chairs but they go flat right away. I thought that he might be to big for them he is a tall & big boy, he is 7 and is about 90lbs and this chair still works great for him and he should be able to use it for awhile. The kids loved their own recliner, just like Dad's. The kid club chairs I first bought at a dept store didn't recline so their necks hurt after a while, since the TV screen was located higher on the wall.  But with these chairs... they can recline and view with more comfort.  Easy to get into and recline (my 20month old loves it, too and can recline it with my 4 year old sitting on it.  Only thing not making this 5 stars is the material is a little too thin for kids.  Looks like one puncture from a sharp object or even the stud on jeans can rip it.  Wish it was as thick as the club chairs I returned.  Still... great value for the enjoyment my kids have - priceless!"..."  Read more

My son and daughter-in-law recently purchased 3 theater-style black leather recliners for their family room, but there was nothing the right size for our soon-to-be 1 year old grandson. My wife did a search and found this chair and decided that this is what we should get our grandson for his first birthday - a real recliner to match Mom's and Dad's.[...] After all of the toys and other presents had been opened, the chair was opened. It was the hit of the party, both among the adults, who oohed and aahed, and the children, who were clamoring to take their turn sitting in it. At the end of the day, our grandson was sitting in his new chair in the family room next to his dad watching football!The quality of this product appears to be excellent and "no assembly required" was great. Our grandson will soon outgrow all of the toys and clothes he received, but this is something that he will be able to grow into and enjoy for many years. We bought this for our youngest son for Christmas. He is 13 months old and the size will be perfect for him. We debated getting another one for our 3 1/2 year old but after seeing the size of it I'm glad we didn't. It would have been a little too small. The recliner doesn't recline unless you pull out the footrest first, but it will be easy for him to figure out and he'll have no problem sitting in the chair.
