I was looking for a nice, sturdy and attractive wooden chairs for my 3 year old son to sit on while he practices his writing or working on crafts. These are the perfect chairs with the perfect price. These chairs feels and looks the same as the chairs in [...] and it's half the price.I got 2 of these chairs. One in the Aqua and one in the Pumpkin color. I do like the colors but the Pumpkin color is a little deep for the Aqua. I should have gotten the brighter orange color which I think would match the Aqua better. But overall, I think it's a very good buy with sturdy construction. I sit on one chair and my son sits on the other and it holds an adult weight too with no problem.Before purchasing these, we also checked out [...]chairs. The plasic chairs were too wobbly and the wooden chairs were too short in height or the seating were too small. I'm glad we didn't buy the [...]chairs just because of the price. With the Avalon chairs, it's a little bit more but definitely can use it much longer.I would recommend it to any parents that are looking for nice wooden chairs for their toddlers."..."  Read more

This is a Christmas gift for our grandchildren ages 2 and 5. Easy to put together. Very handsome children's furniture. The honey color is lovely and not quite as dark as it looks in the photos which pleased us. Very sturdy furniture. We ordered three extra chairs and hope to get another one for a future gift so they will have a total of six which will be handy when they have families with children for dinner--the kids will have their own little table for dining. Will be great for crafts and even homework when the oldest starts school next year. I did a lot of research and decided this size was ideal, which is a little bigger than most sets. It will grow with the two year old and the five year old will not outgrow it for some time. Since the furniture hasn't been used yet I can't comment on any downside--but there doesn't appear to be any!"..."  Read more
