Kids Seating

I was looking for a nice, sturdy and attractive wooden chairs for my 3 year old son to sit on while he practices his writing or working on crafts. These are the perfect chairs with the perfect price. These chairs feels and looks the same as the chairs in [...] and it's half the price.I got 2 of these chairs. One in the Aqua and one in the Pumpkin color. I do like the colors but the Pumpkin color is a little deep for the Aqua. I should have gotten the brighter orange color which I think would match the Aqua better. But overall, I think it's a very good buy with sturdy construction. I sit on one chair and my son sits on the other and it holds an adult weight too with no problem.Before purchasing these, we also checked out [...]chairs. The plasic chairs were too wobbly and the wooden chairs were too short in height or the seating were too small. I'm glad we didn't buy the [...]chairs just because of the price. With the Avalon chairs, it's a little bit more but definitely can use it much longer.I would recommend it to any parents that are looking for nice wooden chairs for their toddlers."..."  Read more

I researched which table and chairs to buy for quite a while. This purchase was actually to purchase additional chairs to go with the table and chairs set that we previously bought. The set is very well made and the chairs are comfortable for adults as well. The shelf under the table is great for storing coloring books and the like. My duaghter has used this table since she is 2 and now at 4 she uses it all the time for art projects and for snacks. My son is one and he can climb on the chairs and safely sit with her. I bought six of these chairs for my in-home day care many years ago. They are extremely sturdy and I have never had to tighten a screw or glue a joint unlike many other chairs we've tried. The stacking knobs on the back of the chairs allow us to stack 3 or 4 chairs together without worry of them tumbling down on little ones. The handle on the back allows me to carry and move them easily and the handles on the arm allow small children the independence to move chairs where they like. When given a choice, the kids always choose these chairs over all the others. The simple design and high quality hard wood with a durable finish makes these chairs very easy to clean.
