This headboard is solid pine (no composite board or veneer), which makes it a lightweight and good-quality product. If planning to buy two twins buy at same time! I purchase only one twin headboard in case I wouldn't like to not have to deal with returning two big boxes. I got one headboard & loved it, ordered the second headboard but color was not the same, it was much darker pink, didn't look good together for same bedroom. Not until second time I called was the customer rep. helpful-solved my problem & now I have two super cute matching light pink headboards. Great buy for the value! I looked for a white headboard for a long time at pottery barn and other children's stores. I found this to look similar to one at pottery barn kids I was researching for triple the price. The quality of headboard is good and looks great in my daughter's bedroom. Four stars only because the picture makes the headboard look taller than it really is once the mattress is attached. I wanted a headboard for my 4 year old boy. I didn't want to pay too much money as his bed is a twin size & i'm sure in a few years, he will want a full size bed. My husband put the headboard together fairly quickly. We already had a frame; however, the frame didn't fit the headboard holes. I would recommend buying the frame that goes along w/ the bed versus drilling new holes to make current frame work w/ headboard.
