The quality of this bookcase is excellent. It went together very easily and looks fantastic! I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a sturdy, bright and useful bookcase. I bought it for my grandson because he has received so many beautiful books and this bookcase will be the perfect place to keep them. I received a $40 gift certificate good at any of Wayfair's 200+ stores in exchange for a review. I decided to use the certificate towards the purchase of a bookcase for the kids' room. My kids love books and they have lots of them. Unfortunately, they had no place to put their books. Books were getting lost and ruined so the choice was clear. Assembly took 45 minutes. It probably would have only taken 30-35 minutes but my husband got distracted and installed the middle shelf upside down. The illustrated assembly instructions could have been a little more detailed. I would have liked to see the grooves that were on the actual pieces on the illustrations. It would make it a bit easier to figure out which direction each piece goes. We chose the 32" Nantucket Bookcase because it matches the decor and furniture we have in the kids' room. And as you can see from this picture, it matches my daughter's bed pretty good. My kids have a lot of books. We fit probably 30 books in this bookcase, stacked on top of one another. It is much, much easier for my kids to clean up their books now."

My search for the perfect bookcase for our toddler ended when I found this product, and we couldn't be happier! It was so easy to put together (there's an online instruction video, but I didn't even need to refer to that, as the written instructions that came with the bookcase were sufficient), and it truly is a well-made, beautiful piece. It was important to me to find a U.S.-made product that was eco-friendly and didn't off-gas harmful chemicals, and I was really pleased that the bookcase had no initial or subsequent odors. It's deceptively small (i.e., unobtrusive, with a relatively small footprint), but I was pleasantly surprised at how many books it holds. My toddler adores it and will stand at it for a long period of time just arranging and re-arranging her books, and I like that it gives her a special place in our living room for her "treasures." On a more general note, I have spoken directly with one of the founders/co-owners of Sodura about their products, and he is very open and willing to discuss their design and manufacturing process. He even helped us with a custom piece for our daughter, and the process was smooth, fast and resulted in another beautiful product that adds to our growing Sodura collection.
