My daughter rec'd the matching stool for Christmas, so I knew that the quality of the bookcase would be very good. When I first put the bookcase together, I was disappointed about the size. Even though the dimensions were given, I had imagined it bigger. However, it holds a lot of books and it is the perfect size for my 22-month-old to comfortably reach all of the books. I use it to hold reading books, reference material for kids, baby books (I have a 3 yr old), etc. The sides are good for big books that are always hard to shelve. The only thing that troubles us are the wheels. I wish they would move better when the bookcase is loaded. I don't know if the rubber type would be better."..."  Read more

I love, love, love this bookshelf. It holds a bunch of books and conserves space. If you are an apartment dweller this is important. This is not one of those bookcases where the shelves will sink in the middle if you actually fill the shelf. Guidecraft outdid themselves here. I wish more bookshelves were made like this.
