I use it to hold reading books, reference material for kids, baby books (I have a 3 yr old), etc. The sides are good for big books that are always hard to shelve.

I use this product for big book storage and to roll around the room for a flat surface to do things on- charts, displays and the kids sometimes do their work on it.
