I like the profile of this bed. It's extremely close to the ground so there's no fear of falling out. It's also a clean, modern design, and I love that there's a ledge on teheran end for all the animals that can't fit in the bed. The cons: the bed is thin wood with rounded, but sharp ends. Because its so low profile my daughter often hits her head on it when laying down. I would recommend with a few reservations.

I bought this bed for my 22month old son to help transition him out of the crib. I was skeptical because most of the beds I've seen were really cheaply made and looked like a safety hazard. This bed was well worth the money and my son loves it. My husband put the bed together in a half an hour and my son immediately jumped into it. The bench on the end of the bed has become my sons new favorite spot to watch movies. I am so glad that I bought this bed and would recommend this product to anyone.

We moved our 20 month old son into this bed cold turkey and he loved it! He likes to sit at the end of his bed on the bench and get in and out on his own. It is low to the ground so there is no fear of him falling out and hurting himself. It is relatively easy to put together because of the labelled pieces and with 2 people took under 1 hour.

When my son suddenly decided to escape his crib and could not be contained (at a young 16 months) we decided we needed a toddler bed and FAST! I shopped around a LOT and read a billion reviews, and after reading so many glowing reviews of this bed, we ordered it. [...]it was easy to put together and very sturdily made. My son took to it like a duck to water, and absolutely loves it! He spends a lot of time playing and climbing on it, and loves the little chair/shelf at the foot! The rounded corners are great - this was the only bed I found that had them! It's low enough to the ground that I don't worry about him rolling out of it. I have nothing negative to say about this - top notch!

After much consideration I found this Modern Toddler Bed the best choice for our son. Perfect transition from crib to first bed. He is 15 months and was 14 mos at time of purchase. It was super easy to assemble. I love the clean lines of the piece itself. The bulit in rails make me feel even better about him being so young in a toddler bed. He actually spends a lot of time playing in it. We love the built in seat at the foot of the bed. Ingenious really. I hadn't found anything like it! I often find him sitting on it. I feel that this bed will easily grow with him and I expect him to use it atleast till age 4. NO complaints at all[...]Very pleased.

We purchased this bed for our 22 month-old toddler as we moved him into his "big-boy" room. I found the bed assembly on par with [...] in terms of the simplicity of the directions and the ease of assembly. The bed has a nice stable platform (our son is a jumper) that fits his crib mattress well. The siderails have kept him from falling out of bed for the last two weeks, and I appreciate the lack of sharp corners overall. The style fits in nicely with the [...] furniture that comprises the rest of his room. I doubt I could sit on it without breaking it, and I question it's long-term durability, but for our needs it has been great.

Great toddler bed, well made. Typical vague instructions, but once assembled has been wonderful. I worried that the edges looked "sharp" compared to rounded edges of other toddler beds but so far no serious whacks.

Purchased this bed for my grandaughter in Minnesota who had just turned 3 at the time. [...] was easy to assemble according to my daughter. The little bench seat at the foot of the bed is cute and useful for sitting or keeping a few toys close by. The modern styling would fit in with many different decors.
