This product is shaped more like a desk, but with a kids table cloth over it makes a lovely play table with multiple chairs. Great size, very sturdy. Would buy from here over pottery barn again without batting an eye over it. Kidkraft far outranks other kids furniture in my opinion. I purchased this table and 4 chairs for my grandchildren who have outgrown their toddler table. I also purchased the table and 4 chairs in another finish for use in my home. It was the little kids table Christmas day and it was perfect for my 3, 5, 7 9 year old grandchildren. This set is extremely well made and very sturdy. I ordered this desk for my 4 1/2 year old son so that he'd have his own little desk where he could sit and play, draw or use his little laptop computer. I also thought it would be versatile enough to function as a little person's dining table if need be. This table is great in every way...
