Very well built chair with solid wood framing with no give in structure. Quality upolstery and thick upolstery. Chair will stand a beating. Child likes to turn chair over when not sitting in it. Not one seam in fabric has come lose and frame inside chair still rock stable with absolutely no give. Great product and you will get years of survice from it. This is not a cheap built chair. I purchase and handpaint these rocking chairs all of the time to sell [...]They are very sturdy, and also a great value. This one however had manufacturer defects.The chair comes ready to assemble, and normally I put it together and check it before painting it, but this time I just verified all of the parts were there. After I got the chair completely painted and put together I noticed one of the holes was drilled wrong!!! Luckily I am handy with tools and I was able to fix it.
