Grandkids LOVE these
Kim from Horseheads, NY – Verified Buyer
I purchased this Retro Kitchen & Refrigerator set for my Florida home so when the grandkids visit they have something to play with. The kids just love it. They are cooking and serving us there pretend meals non-stop. They run to it first before even looking at the other toys. I bought some wooden food and pots and pans to use with it. If how much they love this set is any indication of the future, they will all be Chefs when they grow up. I have a plastic stove in my home up North. This wooden set is so much nicer. I bought the blue to match the blues in my décor in my family room. It doesn't look cheap and I don't mind keeping it next to the TV where I can watch my grandkids play while relaxing on the sofa watching TV! I had my son-in-law and son (both 31 yrs. old) put them together. They were at it for a while, but didn't seem to have any trouble and there were no extra pieces when they finished. Pros: Sturdy, nice looking, kids LOVE it, Cons: Might take a little while to get both pieces put together

This is a great kitchen with the same look and by the same makers of the Pottery Barn retro kitchen but for a 1/4 the price. Based on other reviews we were cautious putting it together because apparently the screws can strip the wood if you aren't careful and then door hinges are easy to fall apart. We haven't had this issue with my 2 and 4 year old kids playing with is regularly for over six months now. However, my 2 year old - when she was still 18 months, walked over saying "uh oh" one day and had the faucet in her hand. It won't screw back in but I still have it and have been meaning to try to reattach with some sort of adhesive. Bummer. I dont know how she did it but it is a little worrisome that my little one (who has never broken any other toys) was able to break it off when she was still pretty small. All in it has been a great purchase for the money. Fun to play with, great price and looks great, too.
Such a cute and durable kitchen!

We purchased this kitchen for our 2 year old granddaughter for Christmas. We thought we would order early, as the product has been out of stock for a while. We did receive a prompt email from Wayfair to tell us it was back in stock, so we ordered it! It was delivered quickly. My husband decided to go ahead and put it together right away. The pieces were packaged very nicely, and the instructions were very easy to follow. Yes, as the other reviews had explained... a lot of parts! The total time to assemble took around 2 hours. Worth the time, a VERY nice little kitchen! Doors close nicely, and overall looks to be very sturdy. Very happy with the purchase. Can't wait to give it to her! Durable, cute style, easy instructions
You should buy this kitchen set.

My 15 mos old son absolutely loves this kitchen. All wood and sturdy parts, much better than a cheaper plastic set. I was glad it came in blue for the boy chefs out there! He loves opening and closing the cabinets, also the stove dials turn and click which is extra fun. Very happy with this kitchen and it's quality so I know it will last a long time. ( I had read a previous review saying there was a strong chemical smell that had worried me before buying, but I barely smelled anything more than new wood/paint smell that is typical of boxed painted wood.) Also, I built it all by myself, without the help of daddy! Yes, it took me a few hours, but if I can do it anyone can.

I purchased this for my daughter's first birthday. It was extremely easy to assemble. I loved that each piece was labeled numerically, this made for a faster assembly and the diagrams where great! We are very happy with the overall quality of the piece! I only wish that the sink was secured in place some how. My daughter often removes it while playing. KidKraft should offered more accessories such as pot or pans and fake food to coordinate with the theme of the kitchen set.
Daughter loves it.

lots of room in fridge and oven to store all the play food. She has had it for a year and it has held up very well with the exception of the sink spout. It has been pulled on during play and now wobbles. It's not easy to tighten. Pros: well constructed, looks nice, lots of storage Cons: flimsy sink
Perfect for a little princess

The cutest little kitchen I have ever seen. Very well made and perfect for a little princess as she grows older. Can't wait to see my granddaughter's eyes when she sees it. So realistic looking. I chose lavender because it's her favorite color. I will definitely purchase more KidKraft products in the future.
Beautiful play kitchen

My daughter will be turning two next month and she loves it! The only thing I did not like was that my daughter can't open the refrigerator on her own because it starts to lean forward so we're not looking forward to making holes on the wall so we can mount it.

Just a little bit smaller than I expected but is so cute and a perfect fit for my 20 month old daughter. I guess a kitchen is a girl's must have! Assembly did take some time but the instructions were clear and made the whole process easy.

For those who don't want to pay $500 for the Pottery Barn alternative this is a great kitchen set. Took a little long to put together but my husband was able to do it in less then 2 hours. Directions were simple. My daughter loves her kitchen.
