Kettler Roma Chaise Lounge

I love this lounge! It does lay completely flat. Just put on wheels. Make sure your kids don't play with the wheel parts. One of our's snapped the little black wheel plug in the cylinder before we put the wheels on, and it took to strong men 20 minutes to get it apart again! Those wheels will NEVER come off after years of use!

I bought this chaise and two chairs last year for this season. I have two problems with the chaise - the horizontal area has indented strips - dirt collects in every corner (see my review of the chairs). Additionally, there is no cushion or pad that fits on this chaise. It is 19" wide and all the pads are 20 or 21 inches. It is only comfortable for a short time without a pad. I wish I had shopped at a brick and mortar store where I could have tried this out first.

After 2 of my previous chaise lounges broke (the fabric eventually gave way) I decided I needed to get something that would hold up better against the elements. I figured plastic would be my best bet, but who would make a quality chair out of plastic? This chair is amazing though, it folds up to a surprisingly compact square, has lots of sitting options, fully reclines, is made from a very thick durable plastic, and even looks better than other chaise loungers I've owned. My favorite unexpected features are the fact that it is actually quite wide and roomy, some loungers have you squeezing onto as narrow a bed as possible, and the fact that it is nice and high off the ground makes getting in and out of it much less of a pain. Love this lounger, fully expect it to stand the test of time, unlike my other loungers. Oh and the best part, no assembly other then popping on the wheels, which took only a second to do.

this is exactly what I was looking for. It's a sturdy plastic and appears to be well made.

This chair needed little assembly - looks great and is very comfortable with the cusion.

Good height for ease of getting in and out; very sturdy and exceptionally well made. Armrests are well positioned and wide enough to comfortably lean on. It also reclines fully, to accomodate serious sunbathers when tanning the "flip side".

I've only had this about a week[...]It was already assembled except for the wheels which were very easy to put on. The chaise is more substantial than I thought and I love the fact that the back can be adjusted with the arms. The fact that it folds up is also great. Really nice product. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I haven't had it that long. I expect by the end of the summer I will be giving it a 5 star rating.
