I've been very satisfied with this blender so far. It's easy to use and makes great soups. I haven't tried it on anything too tough yet (e.g., ice, frozen fruit), but it's well made and I think it'll do any job quite well.

When I first used this, it produced a fine black carbon powder from the base which discolored my white counter top. I considered sending it back. It works very well, however, and after several uses this "powder effect" (lubricant? graphite powder?)has all but vanished. It will crush ice like nothing I have seen. Only 2 speeds though, fast and blazing fast,so not able to slowly blend anything. Even so, I am quite happy with it. The graphite (or whatever it is)business is the only thing that kept it from 4 stars. Price is great.

Every morning I assemble a protein smoothie - fruit, protein powder, flaxseed, Greek yogurt and milk. Powerful blending, love the pulse feature, and always a great frothy and smooth result. This unknown-to-me brand did not disuade me. Recommendations were all good. Would have liked to purchase "made in the USA" and perhaps by the time this one wears out one will be available?

I needed a new blender. After researching several brands, I chose this particular Kalorik based on its stated efficiencies, its price, and its color, brushed stainless steel. The jar is good-sized; the lid fit very securely; the foot pads had enough tack to them so the machine wouldn't 'walk'. But the machine's downfall, to me, is that it is TOO powerful. There are only two speeds, 'low' and 'high', plus the ability to pulse. Low is NOT low; it's high. And the high is very high. I used it 4 times, twice with hot milk and Mexican chocolate tablets. Whether using the pulse, low, or high, the contents blew up and squirted milk all over...twice. And I had securely placed the lid on and had my hand on the lid! Next I pureed an onion soup with well-chopped onions. Again, the lid was secure and my hand was on the lid, and again, the contents blew up on me, the counter, and the walls. I did not try liquid and ice cubes. I will be returning this and will be purchasing a machine with more buttons, hoping and expecting that low will be low!

This blender is exactly what I needed to replace my broken blender. It is sturdy, can handle crushing ice with easy and is easy to clean. It is easy to operate and doesn't take up a lot of space when storing. We use our blender quite frequently and wanted something that could stand up to constant use. From the way it is build, I can tell it will meet my expectations.

I bought this blender to make smoothies. It works perfectly for that purpose. Berries, yogurt, fruit, protein powder all come together into a perfect smoothie consistency. Everything cleans up in the dishwasher. [...] I hope the blender continues to work well for a long time.

These types of "blenders" tend to break easy if you want them to do what you think you bought them for. These things should almost be called stirrers, which you really don't need. At least this one has a warning on it not to run it for more than 1 minute.
