Color not as shown

Beware... The actual color is royal blue and darker than the image. I wanted and expected the dusty blue as shown so I was surprised when I opened the box. My husband liked the royal blue and we decided to keep it as it was the second one we received. The first one was mistakenly the light blue version. It was a very pastel baby blue with white accents instead of black so we returned it. I thought the price was fair as it is very cute and I know we'll get a ton of compliments on it. It was super easy to put together... took minutes. I would not trust it can hold much weight so I advised my 7 year old daughter she is not allowed to get on it. The one I received has a deep scuff on a black accent piece but do not want to hassle with another return so I'm going to touch it up myself. I thought it was a fair price for how original it is. I love it except I did have my heart set on the color in the image so for that I'm disappointed.
love the bed, hate the color

We order this bed for our 2 12 year old boy, our older boy has the fire truck bed from the same manufacturer and wanted to have a 'set'. Pros- The bed it self is super easy to put together, it took my husband maybe 30 mins or less. Cons- The color.... well, the picture shows a vintage blue, not too dark but a true blue. Well, I saw the color when my husband had already put it together and it is a-not-to-boyish 'Cinderella-blue' . To light for my taste, but it was already assembled so it was too late to pack it again and send it back. Another con I can think of is that the sides of the bed are not as high as the ones on the fire truck one, don't think my boy is going to fall but it is easier for him to stick his legs out of the bed. Bottom line is, this is a great bed, easy to put together and made in America. Just wish the color was a true blue.
