I have owned this product for a month and until now I have been very pleased with it. Juice is excellent, the pulp reasonably dry, and the machine powerful - I juiced appples, carrots, red beets, oranges, grapefruit, pineapple, celery. My machine is black so I don't see the stains from carrots. I'm ok with the weight (the juicer has its own space on the counter) and with the noise (my blender is noisier).When pureeing something too juicy, part of the juice is coming out through the juicing chamber- the instruction manual says this is because the machine doesn't have gaskets. It happened to me with some olives I tried to puree, but eventually I was happy with the outcome: had all juice ended up in the puree, my olive spread would have been too watery. I haven't tried berries yet to see if I run into the same problem.I initially had some problems with disassembling and rinsing the parts, but then I found a clean-up sequence that works for me so now the whole process takes less than 1 minute.The only caveat is that the feeding tube is small so you have to quarter the apples and even the oranges. Ive not used any other juicers, but I like this one a lot. It makes short work of heavy grinding. I also ordered a tomato screen from the manufacturer, and that gives me tomato sauce, fast. I got this juicer because it can also grind chocolate nibs, which no other juicer can handle. It is truly heavy duty! Now Im finding I enjoy being able to make my own vegetable juice and fruit juice. Cons: The juicer was a bit bigger than expected. It's pretty loud and the ratio of juice to product juice is lower than a Champion or Green Star. Pros: Fast, large mouth to juicer vegetables easier without a lot of preparation. The juice tastes very fresh. The multiple speeds is great. Cleaning is very easy. The Breville is replacing a series of inexpensive juicers that we destroyed after a season or two of use. We've only had the Breville juicer for about a month and it seems really sturdy other than the arm used to push the fruit down on the juicer. The rest of the juicer is heavy and well-made, the motor is quiet and sounds tight, but that pesky arm feels like it could fall off with each piece of fruit. The motor is what really matters, of course, and we have killed more than one cheaper juicer motor, so I really hope the Breville is up to the challenge!"..." Read more
