This is a beautiful lamp shade. As nice as it looks on the lamp, you should see it when the lamp is lit. When the lamp is lit, the eyelet flowers really stand out. The ruffle at the bottom diffuses the light from the bulb, making a warm glow rather than a harsh white light. It makes a soft, feminine statement when placed on my bedroom dresser lamps. This lamp shade is of high quality. All the edges and seams are tightly closed. I"m really happy with this purchase. You won't find a shade of this beauty and quality at a box store.
