Jewelry Boxes

I just used this box to organize my jewelry and then travel 1200 miles back home. I love the heavy construction and the look of the jewelry box. I do not understand why the dividers are not fixed in the box. The divider can easily be removed therefore; small items of jewelry can slip under the divider. I am thinking of ways to fix the divider to the bottom of the box. There is room at the top of the box for everything to shift around if by chance your luggage turns upside down so I suggest a piece of cardboard in between the top of the divider and the lid."..."  Read more

My daughter loved the jewelry box when she opened it for her 3rd bday. The dancing ballerina is so cute and she loves the music. She has about 4 necklaces (kind of bulky chain ones like the charm ones from the Gap) and not much else fits in there. The ballerina takes up the top middle compartment when closed, so you are left with the right and left sides (which are broken down into small compartment for rings and such) on the top removable compartment and a little bit larger single space below the lift out top. Maybe better for older girls who don't have such bulky jewelry as a 3 year old. Quality so far looks pretty good. Came with a cloth for polishing, but I hope it wont' tarnish too soon!
