Very nice product.THINGS THAT ARE GREAT ABOUT IT: My girlfriend liked that the trays can be pulled completely out, also the diversity of compartments especially the earring compartments because there were so many of them.THINGS THAT AREN"T SO GREAT:We did not like the plate on the top of the chest and both think that it looks tacky. Also, we did not like that it was screwed into the top of the chest for two reasons: 1) The screws stick-out and are ugly, and 2) The screws eliminated the option of removing the plate since the two holes from the screws would remain. Overall, we feel that the plate and the screws with attach it reduce the quality and elegance of an otherwise very beautiful, elegant and well designed jewelry chest. We suggest that the plate be removed from the design, if people want a plate, then they could always purchase one themselves. Otherwise, you can include a plate with an adhesive back inside of the chest. Either of these options would simplify manufacturing and reduce costs for the manufacturer without any loss in quality.[...] I had seen somebody on [...] who had obtained a number of Athena jewelry chests (possibly from the factory?) but which all had some minor defect. They were selling them at a reduced cost of [$](? If I recall correctly) The possible defects were identified as: scratches on the wood, loose threads, minor tears in the material, and broken hooks. I decided that no matter how small the defect, I did not want my girlfriend to ever find out that I had ordered a blemished chest so decided to pay full price for a new one!! hahaha. [...]. Bottom line is that I am left thinking that I could have obtained the same product for less cost.In any case, I am very happy with the product, it really is a very nice jewelry chest."..." Read more
