I was looking for a good way to organize all of my jewelry that wouldn't break the bank. We tried to hang it over the door but the door wouldn't close (we don't have a closet door, just our bedroom door) so if you plan on hanging this over your door it probably won't close. That said, we hung it up on the wall which worked great because I wouldn't want it swinging back and forth on a door anyway. It works great on the wall for a mirror as well. I love it! It holds plenty of jewelry and I have lots of room to expand my jewelry collection. It is a great value and quality. This is a beautiful modern looking armoire! The workmanship is quite good and it has a nice white lacquer type finish and nickel drawer pulls. The drawers also have drawer stops so you can't spill your jewelry all over. It has lots of space for all different types of jewelry, and lots of separate compartments for smaller jewelry, and larger compartments as well. I also love it because my necklaces can now hang straight without bunching up.
