I used the Simply Better 45 Blade Meat Tenderizer by Jaccard once so far and love it! In fact, I cannot imagine cooking meat in the future without using it. I used it on 3 New York Strip Steaks which can be chewy. The steaks were still a bit frozen so after tenderizing one side, I flipped them over and tenderized the other side. I am a senior citizen with wrist tendon problems as well as arthritis, yet I was able to use the Simply Better 45 Blade Meat Tenderizer by Jaccard easily.

Works great, simple to take apart and clean. Works on all meats. I don't recommend it on thick cuts of steak like ribeye. Smashes the meat down to much. I built a wooden frame 1 1/2" deep and slightly narrower than the bottom of the tenderizer to lay ribeye in so it doesn't end up to thin.

I have only been able to use my meat tenderizer a few times, but the times that I did use it, felt that it is very well made and does a good job on the meat. I ran mine thru the dishwasher and it did not hurt it. Well be useing it alot more in the near future now that I I have one. Very easy to use.

Easy to use and easy to clean. could use a little heavier of a spring though, so it will retract on its own when pushed down into thicker pieces of meat and fat. Otherwise nice.
