Sustainable wood and great looking!

Who doesn't love the traditional look of a steamer chair? I purchased 2 of these new ones for putting on a lanai in a tropical climate not just for their looks but mostly because Balau yellow wood is said to be a sustainable material won't rust and is not plastic....helps with my environmental guilt! Balau is also far less expensive than teak... if you want to maintain their beautiful color, use a teak oil annually on them, or let them weather to a soft grey...but make that choice early. Better still, consider buying some covers for them so they last! I have two much older ones, 15 years old, that i have stained and they still look excellent around the pool are heavy (great in windy locations) but easy to move around, store, and are very comfortable to sit in. These were a great our purchase for the price paid and arrived perfectly!

Acccurate description and picture. It's still brand new, so I cannot yet comment on it's durability over time and weather.. Clearly (no pun intended) requires Tung Oil dressing - wood is very dry.
great product suits our needs perfectly.

easy assembly and comfortable too. Will be used with a table on the patio for the pool.
