My husband has been tracking in garden dirt since the snow melted. I was looking for something that would keep the dirt outside where it belongs and this mat filled the bill--perfectly!

I haven't had this product long enough to know if it will hold up, but it seems sturdy enough. It is working well with the summer dirt and grass. I'm hoping it will work just as nicely with the winter snow and ice. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it really needs to come in a larger size in order to cover the entire door entrance.

I was having trouble with other door mats trapping dirt and being difficult to clean. This boot scraper is great because the dirt falls through then can be swept or blown away. If the mat gets muddy, just spray it clean with the hose; it dries fast, too. Very sturdy construction means it will last a long time. Just don't step on it with bare feet! The only downside about a mat like this is that it will slide around on a garage floor, so you must take care so as not to "surf" on it.
