  • My favorite way to start the day is with a glass of freshly pressed juice that I make at home with the help of my trusty juicer. Drinking all of those brightly-colored, nutrient-rich fruits and veggies first thing in the morning (and all at once) gives me a boost of natural energy that makes me feel great and starts my day off on the right foot.

    That said, here's an energizing juice recipe made with just four fresh ingredients: apple, cucumber, lime, and mint. It's slight sweet and incredibly refreshing. So your taste buds will love it, and it'll give you a natural pick-me-up at the same time! Enjoy!

    Sweet Mint Limeade

    Makes approximately 10-12 ounces of fresh juice

    1 1/2 large apples (any variety)
    1 cucumber
    1/2 lime
    12 mint leaves

    Combine all ingredients in a juicer.

    Pour juice into a glass or serve over ice.
