  • What better way to celebrate any occasion year-round than with a champagne cocktail? Here's an easy way to  kick off any party by mixing your own craft cocktail. The best part? You can use five simple ingredients you probably already have at home.

  • Ingredients

    1. 1 ounce gin
    2. 1 ounce simple syrup
    3. Raspberries, to muddle
    4. Champagne, to top off drink
    5. 1 ounce soda water

    You'll Also Need

    1. Ice for shaking
    2. Shaker for mixing drink
    3. Glass for serving


    To make the simple syrup, mix 1 cup fine grain sugar with 1 cup water. Pour into small pan. Stir while bringing to a boil. Let cool. Store in air-tight container for up to one month.

    Add three raspberries into a drink shaker and muddle. Add a few ice cubes to shaker. Then add 1 ounce gin and 1 ounce simple syrup. Cover and shake. Pour into a champagne flute or other drink glass. Add 1 ounce soda water. Top with champagne, add a raspberry, and voila! Your summer champagne cocktail.
