  • Ingredients

    1. 1 ounce gin
    2. 1 ounce simple syrup
    3. Raspberries, to muddle
    4. Champagne, to top off drink
    5. 1 ounce soda water

    You'll Also Need

    1. Ice for shaking
    2. Shaker for mixing drink
    3. Glass for serving

To make the simple syrup, mix 1 cup fine grain sugar with 1 cup water. Pour into small pan. Stir while bringing to a boil. Let cool. Store in air-tight container for up to one month.

Add three raspberries into a drink shaker and muddle. Add a few ice cubes to shaker. Then add 1 ounce gin and 1 ounce simple syrup. Cover and shake. Pour into a champagne flute or other drink glass. Add 1 ounce soda water. Top with champagne, add a raspberry, and voila! Your summer champagne cocktail.
