  • Create a dreamy atmosphere after the sun sets with candlelight and soft paper lanterns. If mosquitos are a problem, keep them away with fresh-scented citronella candles. Here's a tip if wasps are a pest in the daytime: Place a couple of tablespoons of freshly ground cloves in small bowls and scatter a few around the seating area. Wasps will avoid that smell (and you!) at all costs.
