Define your entryway space
with a durable and stylish rug. Using a rug in this area of the home is a temporary and relatively inexpensive solution you can switch whenever you want. Decide on a rug size and shape that will fit your space. Sometimes larger than you intially think looks best, but console tables, coat racks, and other accents should be placed off the edge of the rug.
Since an entryway is a high traffic area, choose a material and color that can endure wear and tear. A colorful, patterned area rug is a great option. (They're very forgiving!)Designs: Heimsath Architects, Rachel Reider Interiors
