How to Make Painted Mason Jar Vases
Paint the jars on all sides. Hold them by the mouth while painting.
Let the paint dry. Once dried, use sandpaper to remove paint from the raised lettering and designs. The more paint you remove, the more rustic the jars will look!
If using tempera paint, use a sealant (such as Mod Podge) to lock in the color and keep the paint from wiping off. Just add water and flowers, and you're good to go!
