Howard Miller Techtime I Atomic Alarm Clock ()

Our initial purchase of one of these clocks, was for an elderly family member, who needed help with the day and date. It is so practical, that I had to have one for the family. I am so over, that annual 'daylight savings time' scramble, to set the clocks back or forward. The atomic clock resets the time for us. Perfect size for desk, kitchen counter or book case.

We purchased this for a senior family member, who takes medication, and must keep track of it in a daily log. It is important for them to know with certainty, exactly what day it is. Believe it or not, this clock allows our family member to be just a little more independent. And that's a huge deal. The clock (with the date and day), also helps them manage their wall calendar, as they can 'check off' the days, with confidence that they are on the right day. This in turn, allows them manage upcoming appointments on calendar. It all hinges on knowing the correct date and day - and this clock has solved that problem. And we don't have to panic, when the daylight savings clock setting silliness is upon us. Thank goodness!

User suffers from low vision. Numeral size is large enough for me to see.

no backlight, will probably keep great time, but nothing special, could get same for about half price. Was for a gift so can't return or I would.

A very accurate alarm clock and easy to set. I do wish it would light up at night

i purchased this clock from your company because i thought it was made in the USA. i read the info on your company and that was my impression. however, upon receipt i discovered "China" on the back of the clock. I do not purchase "made in China" if i can avoid it because their products are primarily "junk" and I have wasted a lot of money on them. i think you should be more informative of where your products are made so as a consumer, I can decide if I wish to purchase it. so far the clock has worked fine but i really wish it had been made in the USA.

I am very disappointed that this clock does not have a night light for reading the display in the dark. I use this product as an alarm clock to get up and go to work and so I appreciate that it is accurate, but that it does not have a built in night light is frustrating.

Use this timepiece to set all other clocks and watches.

Sometimes I get confused about what day it is or the correct date for the day. Its great to not only have this information readily available but to also have the correct time.
