This is a great piece of furniture which has freed up a lot of cabinet space. It looks good too. So nice to have everything together. Very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful piece of furniture...delivered and set up was great. Only complaint is a strong smell of varnish when we open it.

I read all of the comments for this bar and thought I would add my own. We purchased our hidden wine bar locally, so I cant comment on some of the statements of delivery. However, my wife and searched for over a year for a wine barwine cabinet before we found this one. We were not only excited about the design and size, but it is somewhat a Queen Anne style, which fits all of our other furniture. It has sufficient room for all of our spirits, plus the wine we will be drinking in the next couple of weeks. (I keep my stockpile in the basement). It is a solid, well designed, piece of furniture. The locks will keep the little kids out, but not the big kids. That is not a problem in our house, they are all grown and gone. One of the strong points of this wine bar is the fact that you can close it up, and it becomes an attractive, cherry finished cabinet.

This is a wonderful piece of furniture. It is not a extravagant in any way just quite simply, perfect for what I required. I needed a bar with adequate space to hold my alcohol and a whole shelf of shot glasses along with some wine bottles, wine glasses and the blender fit just right. Just to be clear, as I said this is NOT an extravagant piece of furniture. The light switch inside is very cheap and I had to adjust the connecting wire in order for it to turn on when I open the door. It does work now with no issues BUT I am cable savvy and am able to alleviate such a discrepancy without assistance. Another thing to watch out for is the LOCK! If you are purchasing this for the locking mechanism to keep the kids or that drunk family member out, then this is the wrong purchase for you. The left door latches on to the upper segment of the cabinet and the right door locks on to the left, allowing anyone to simply pull hard enough and slip the lock right out. HOWEVER, this piece is solid wood and therefore you could easily purchase a decent latch lock and secure it. All in all, this is an excellent piece of furniture for the money. Pretty well made but could have been better.

Delivery was a dream and the unit arrived packaged EXTREMELY WELL. No need to worry about it being damaged as it comes packed with about 8 garbage bags of STYROFOAM.

I bought this unit because it is the only one I could find that had plenty of storage for spirits bottles (most have tons of wine storage, but I have no use for that because I have a nice wine fridge. Horizontal wine storage is useless for spirits once the bottles are opened.), and because I really liked that it has a built in power bar so I can put my blender inside for mixed drinks. A fridge would have been nice, instead of so much wine storage, so I could have lemons, olives, etc. at the ready. The colour/style aren't quite what I'm into -- I have more of an art deco decor -- but it's got clean lines and can fit into almost any style without much trouble. The unit is incredibly heavy and solid (close to 400 lbs), sturdy as heck, and I believe it will be in my home for many years. It looks much better in person -- quite an impressive piece of furniture for the price, and rivals many units that cost more than twice as much. It's also a bit darker in colour. I wish it came in espresso or black, but I'm not quibbling. Overall, an excellent purchase. Fortunately, it's not too hard to move on hardwood!

The delivery was a nightmare. The movers arrived with a 360 lb piece of furniture and announced they could only put it outside the front door ! I am 58 and my wife is disabled. I wined enough that they brought it in. It should be illegal to do this ! You should not sell this furniture and not have the customer pay to have it delivered and positioned in the house ! I guess this is why lawyers have work.

we purchased it for our new home in July. My husband was skeptical when I showed him the website. I ordered it and on the day it arrived, I had it fully stocked before he got home from work. He absolutely loved it.He was blown away by it. We just had a large party this Saturday and it was the hit of the night. A lot of guests went home with Howard Miller written down...

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture! I couldn't be happier! Lots of room for storage of liquor, wine and accessories. Heavy and sturdy. You'll love it!
